Nethriva runs on macOS 14 or later. The included RDP runtime currently targets Apple-silicon Macs.

Get the app
Choose the DMG or ZIP for v0.12.1 (build 26). Both include the same app for macOS 14+; the bundled RDP runtime supports Apple silicon. Intel RDP is not available.

Open on your Mac
Nethriva is locally/ad-hoc signed, not Apple-notarized. After reviewing and trusting the download, try opening it; macOS may require approval under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. If it reports a damaged app or invalid signature, download a fresh copy and report the issue. Do not disable Gatekeeper or remove quarantine.

Work on 0.13.0 (build 27) is underway. The features below are implemented in the local development build and still being tested. They are not included in the public 0.12.1 download, and no 0.13.0 release date is announced.
Virtual machines and consoles
VM inventories and consoles for VMware, Proxmox, QEMU/libvirt, Hyper-V, Xen Orchestra and Nutanix, plus standalone VNC/SPICE. VM details, supported power actions, media mounting and snapshots depend on the host platform.
Your workspace, your layout
Split and detached sessions, a Command-K palette, connection templates, group defaults and bulk editing. Keep tools close with remote text editing, snippets, output search and opt-in session recording.
Sharing and privacy
Metadata-only shared connection libraries with personal overrides and conflict previews. Optional 1Password CLI and Vault KV v2 credentials, plus a Touch ID or Mac-password privacy lock that disconnects live sessions.
More connection tools
SSH tunnels and jump hosts, opt-in X11 forwarding, encrypted VNC transport options, connection checks, opt-in recovery after sleep and redacted diagnostics. Keyboard and accessibility improvements are also in progress.
Testing and setup still matter: VMware federated/MFA sign-in is experimental and needs administrator registration; Intel RDP needs a compatible runtime; verified-update downloads remain disabled until a publisher verification key is configured. Live host, vault, authentication and accessibility acceptance checks remain pending.

Downloads repaired · October 15, 2026
If an earlier copy could not be opened, discard that download and download again. The repaired packages preserve executable permissions and library links. The app stays at 0.12.1 with the same features.
Fresh downloads passed checksum, signature, permissions and bundled-runtime checks after extraction or mounting. Independent M1 first-launch testing is still pending; these checks do not certify every Mac or macOS version. The app is not Apple-notarized.
To verify a download, keep its matching .sha256 file in the same folder and run shasum -a 256 -c followed by that checksum filename in Terminal. A matching checksum confirms the file matches the published package.

Explore the public code in the GitHub repository. The local 0.13.0 development work has not been published there yet.
